Jonathon W. Spaulding

Jonathon W. Spaulding, a lawyer with over eighteen years of legal experience, is a founding member of The Law Offices of Spaulding & Kitzler, LLC, with offices located in Mansfield and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Attorney Spaulding focuses his legal practice in OVI defense as well as defending criminal and traffic offenses in Mansfield and Mount Vernon, Ohio and surrounding Ohio counties. Attorney Spaulding has a reputation in the local community as an attorney who aggressively defends OVI arrests, as well as criminal and traffic offenses, with a vast knowledge of the law, and legal expertise gained from years of courtroom experience. Attorney Spaulding’s years of legal experience and knowledge of the law ensure that every client receives excellent representation in the defense of OVI, criminal, and traffic offenses. Attorney Spaulding is a lawyer dedicated to protecting his clients’ legal rights. He is a member of the Richland County Bar Association and the Ohio Academy of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is the former President of the Richland County Bar Association, and Trustee of the Richland County Law Library. He received his undergraduate diploma in 1995 from the Mount Vernon Nazarene University, graduated Capital University Law School in 2000, and was admitted to the Bar in 2000. Benjamin D. Kitzler

Benjamin D. Kitzler began his legal career with Anderson, Will, O’Donnell & Kitzler where he practiced from 2000 until 2010, before he became a founding partner in Spaulding & Kitzler, LLC. Over the course of his career, Attorney Kitzler has developed a broad range of experience handling many legal matters such as felony and misdemeanor criminal traffic matters, real estate law, juvenile custody matters, including defending parents involved with Children Services, and divorce, dissolution, and all related matters. He also does various types of probate matters including estates and guardianships. Ben is a member of The Richland County Bar Association, Ohio Bar Association, American Civil Liberties Union, and the Ohio Academy of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He began his education locally, as he graduated from Mansfield Senior High in 1993. Thereafter obtained his Bachelors of Arts and Sciences from Wittenberg University in 1997, and his J. D. from The University of Akron School of Law in 2000.

Jerry W. Thompson

Jerry W. Thompson is a former municipal prosecutor and has extensive trial experience, with proven results for his clients, focusing on defending felonies and misdemeanor criminal defense. He also defends DUI, domestic relations, civil protection orders, and juvenile law. He is a member of the Richland County Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the National Rifle Association, and is recommended by and affiliated with the NAACP. Attorney Thompson is ADAP certified through the Ohio State Highway Patrol as well. He earned his undergraduate diploma from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor in Psychology and graduated Cum Laude in 1995. He was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. He was also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He received his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law in 2000 and was a member of the trial advocacy team ranked within the top 16 law schools nationally. He began practicing law over 15 years ago, after admittance to the Ohio Bar.
